Adult swim lessons provide a safe, patient environment for adults to overcome fear, learn essential water safety, and develop swimming skills at their own pace. Structured for beginners to advanced, these lessons focus on breath control, floating, front/back strokes, and improving endurance or technique, often using private or group instruction to build confidence.

Key Components and Features: 

  • Targeted Levels: Programs typically range from beginner (comfort/safety) to intermediate (stroke refinement) and advanced (fitness/speed). 
  • Fundamental Skills: Initial lessons focus on becoming comfortable, including blowing bubbles, submerging the face, floating, and navigating the water. 
  • Safety Focus: Instruction covers essential water competency, such as treading water, jumping in, and exiting independently. 
  • Instruction Styles: Lessons are available in private (one-on-one) settings for tailored attention. 
  • Structure: Sessions are usually 45 minutes, starting in shallow water with supportive equipment like noodles or kickboards, progressing to full, unassisted, and confident swimming.  

These programs are tailored for adults of all ages, aiming to reduce the risk of drowning and promote lifelong fitness.  

Adult Swim Lesson Pricing

Each session is 1 hour and includes: 

  • 15 minutes of dry instruction, review, or warm-up 
  • 45 minutes of in-water instruction, practice, and skill development
