Nutrient Tracking Tool (NTT) Training Events
Student NTT Training Workshop: October 10th, 2026
This workshop will give an overview of how NTT works and provide students with hands-on experience running NTT. This workshop is free for Tarleton students. RSVP information, location, and times will be added soon.
3-day NTT Workshop: Date TBA (likely February or March 2027)
A 3-day workshop is currently being planned. This workshop will give in-depth instruction on the background of NTT and the models behind it (Agricultural Policy Environmental eXtender (APEX) and Farm Economic Model (FEM)), and will give participants hands-on experience and real-time feedback.
Past Events
On February 12, 2026, TIAER hosted a Soil and Water Quality Field Demonstration at Port Neches Riverfront Park in Port Arthur, TX. This was following the Southeast Texas Flood Coordination Study’s annual meeting. The demonstration gave hands-on experience with collecting water samples. Preliminary results from TIAER’s work in coastal TX were presented.
