On February 12, 2026, TIAER hosted a Soil and Water Quality Field Demonstration at Port Neches Riverfront Park in Port Arthur, TX. This was following the Southeast Texas Flood Coordination Study’s annual meeting. The demonstration gave hands-on experience with collecting water samples. Preliminary results from TIAER’s work in coastal TX were presented.
