Visitor and Special Event Parking Information

Welcome to Tarleton State University! We are glad to have you visit our campus and would like to make your parking experience here a pleasant one.

When you arrive on campus, you must visit the Parking Office in order to obtain your visitor’s permit; there is no charge for these permits. We will need your car information, including license plate number, as well as, a current cell phone number in case we need to reach you while you are on campus. We are located at 895 N Harbin Dr, on the corner of Harbin and Frey Street.

Visitors are allowed to park in designated yellow or green zone lots. After 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday, visitors may park in available spaces in Red, Purple, Green and Blue Zone lots. Visitors should not park in Reserved spaces, handicapped spaces or Silver Zone Lots unless permitted for those spaces.

Events:

Event Planners should arrange for parking and transportation a minimum of four weeks prior to the event. Contact [email protected] for instructions to submit an event request. Attendees will receive parking details and a dashboard permit from their event planner.

 Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Additional Parking Information

Please do not park in any reserved or handicap space unless you have a current handicapped placard or license plate, as this may result in a parking ticket/fine, or potentially towing. If for some reason you do receive a parking citation while on campus, please sign your name and address on the back of the citation and drop it in one of the visitor boxes, located in each of the visitor parking lots:

Again, we welcome you to Tarleton! Please feel free to come by our office or call us if you have any questions about parking.
