The Tarleton State University Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education (Ag Ed) is nationally known for producing high-quality secondary agriculture teachers and FFA advisors. Ag Ed majors take classes and laboratories in the technical agriculture fields of animal science, plant science/horticulture, agricultural economics, agricultural mechanics, and professional development in agricultural education.

Agricultural Economics, M.S.

At Tarleton, our flexible master’s degree program in agricultural and consumer resources is designed for working professionals who have completed a bachelor’s degree in agricultural services and development, an undergraduate agribusiness degree, or another agriculture-related discipline. 

Art, B.F.A.

The Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Arts provides a learning environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and technological expertise. Tarleton offers a BFA degree with options for Studio art or all-level teacher certification.

Chemistry, B.S.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry is designed for students that like to work with both their hands and their minds. This degree prepares students for graduate studies or careers in the scientific community or academia. A teacher certification option is available in the program to teach at the secondary level.

Civil Engineering, B.S.

The Civil Engineering degree program administered by the School of Engineering is a new and rapidly growing degree program at Tarleton. This program prepares students to develop innovative solutions related to our infrastructure, including analysis and design of structural, transportation and geotechnical systems.

Computer Science, B.S.

The Computer Science degree program managed by the School of Engineering prepares graduates to enter the high-tech work force or pursue graduate studies in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or related disciplines. This program provides a strong foundation in hardware and software, with specialization opportunities in Digital Media (Game Design), Robotics, Mathematics and Sciences.

Digital Media Studies, B.S.

The Digital Media Studies degree plan is designed for students who desire to learn how to design and utilize digital media technologies to suit the needs of contemporary audiences and employers. We have two concentrations that you can focus in: Multimedia Production (graphic design, animation, video, digital imaging) or Video Game Design.
