Welcome to the Office of Student Global and Community Connections!

About Us

We are a part of The Lozano-Long Division of Global, Community, and First-Gen Initiatives.

The Division is honored to lead the university’s strategic charge to advance community values across our multi-campus institution through mission-focused partnerships that develop service, leadership, and work readiness for a global economy and transnational workforce.

Mission

SGCC’s mission is to provide intentional student-centered programming that gives informed context about Tarleton’s robust and vibrant students to cultivate community and a culture of success. We work to establish meaningful connections amongst Tarleton’s global communities to champion career-oriented and civically prepared leaders. Lastly, we will create educational awareness on how to effectively serve and support Tarleton’s student populations.

Vision

Our vision is to provide student-centered & integrity-focused programming. We hope to create collaborative efforts for student excellence. We strive to engage with intentional respect for all Tarleton Texans.
