Star Parties – Last Friday of Camp

The last evening of the camp there will be a star party at the Tarleton Observatory for interested parents and campers. Campers will eat BBQ at 8:15 followed by some games. Star Gazing will begin after dark around 9:30. Come see and learn how to operate our robotic telescope which is the largest telescope at any undergraduate only physics program. Camper Presentations – Last Saturday of Camp

Parents and visitors will meet in room 102 of the science building by 9:00. Counselors will split the parents and visitors into three groups and escort everyone upstairs just after 9:15 to one of three rooms (234, 234, & 236) to see demonstrations and hear presentations from campers about what they have done during the camp.

Check-Out

On Saturday, once presentations are over around noon the campers can meet with counselors and check out of their dorm rooms. There will be breakfast, but not lunch in the dinning hall. Lunch consisting of food (sandwiches, chips) & drinks will be available for the campers just before checkout in the Science Building at 12:30.
