Visitor and Special Event Parking Information
Welcome to Tarleton State University! We are glad to have you visit our campus and would like to make your parking experience here a pleasant one.
VISITORS:
- When you arrive on campus, you must visit the Parking Office in order to obtain your visitor’s permit; there is no charge for these permits. We will need your car information, including license plate number.
- We are located on the lower level of the Thompson Student Center, suite 21.
- Visitors are allowed to park in designated Yellow or Green zone lots. After 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday, visitors may park in available spaces in Red, Purple, Green, and Blue Zone lots.
- Please review all Rules and Regulations before parking on campus. Visitors should not park in Reserved spaces, 24-Hr Reserved spaces, ADA spaces, or fire lanes.
- Visitor passes can be issued for up to a maximum of 5 days.
EVENTS:
- Event planners should contact Parking Services a minimum of two weeks prior to the event.
- Email parking@tarleton.edu with detailed information regarding your event and any parking requests.
- Any parking signage must come from Parking Services. This may come at an additional cost. Please include this in your request.
- Lot closure/clear out requests must allow Parking Services to give campus a 72-hour notice.
- Please keep in mind that your preferred lot(s) are not guaranteed, as they are dependent upon availability. We will do our best to accommodate your request!

Additional Parking Information
Please do not park in any reserved or ADA space unless you have a current ADA placard or license plate, as this may result in a parking ticket/fine, or potentially towing.
