Texan Transition Week
Transition Week, commonly referred to as T-Week, is the time frame between Move-in and the start of Fall classes.
- Transition Week starts upon Move-in, you will receive your T-Week guide during your first hall meeting.
- Start your week off with Move-In! Get your new place set up just how you like it and take all the pictures!
- Participate in activities and events designed to ease you into life at Tarleton
- Get to know campus

Transition Week Dates
- Move In: August 14-16, 2026
- T-Week: August 16-18, 2026
Commuter Students
- Even though you aren’t living on campus, this week you will connect with your fellow classmates, faculty, and staff while also discovering the tools for academic achievement and getting plugged into our organizations!
- Students who are not living on campus in the fall will check in for T-Week in the Thompson Student Center Ballrooms. Commuter students will receive a Transition Week Guide upon check-in.
Transfer Students
- During T-Week, Transfer Students are invited to attend Duck Camp+. At camp, you will meet classmates, learn about campus resources, and hear about opportunities to get involved.
Transfers are also invited to Convocation, where you will have a chance to light your Tarleton Flame! - If you are living in the residence halls, T-Week will begin upon move-in. if you are commuting to campus you will check-in for T-Week in the Thompson Student Center Ballrooms. Commuter students will receive a Transition Week Guide upon check-in.
