Personal Use Software for Faculty & Staff
Faculty & Staff have access to discounted and free software for home/personal use. The following resources provide additional information on available applications.
Office 365
In addition to email, the Office 365 service offers productivity tools for work-at-home including Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Visit the Microsoft Office My Software Portal
- Sign in with your Tarleton credentials
- On the download site, select your language and click install
You may need your full Tarleton email address to sign in.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Tarleton Faculty and Staff may install Adobe applications on a limited number of personal devices. Follow these steps to get started:
- Go to www.adobe.com on your personal computer.
- Click “Sign in” in the top left corner of the window.
- Enter your Tarleton email address and password. (You may have to select “Sign in with an Enterprise ID”)
- You should then see the familiar purple TCAS screen to sign in with your Tarleton credentials
- Under “Your Apps & Services”, you will see Creative Cloud and a link to where you can download apps.
Cylance Smart Antivirus
The Cylance Employee Protection Program is a benefit offered to Tarleton students, faculty and staff to ensure the protection of personal devices against malware, viruses, bots, and unknown future variants.
Texas A&M Software
Texas A&M offers a variety of discounted software titles for personal use. It is recommended that you first check Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud before making a purchase via the Texas A&M software portal.
