The Tarleton Information Security Team supports Tarleton’s mission by overseeing the University’s efforts to protect information and information systems with a goal to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the University’s electronic information. To achieve this goal, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) develops policies and procedures to promote security awareness within the campus community.

The Information Security Team ensures that the University is in compliance with Texas Administrative Code Chapter 202, as well as other State and Federal laws dealing with Information Security.
