Veteran Parking Information

• Staff/Faculty/Student Veterans with a 40% disability rating will qualify for free parking, as outlined in the Parking Rules and Regulations. You must provide documentation of eligibility each semester. A copy of your Disability Rating letter showing the percentage can be emailed to Parking Services (parking@tarleton.edu) or brought in person (Thompson Student Center, Suite 21) to have the parking charge removed from your Texan Bill in the case of students and all other will have a permitted added by the Parking Services Office at no charge.
• If the Veteran qualifies for DV license plate and also has ADA placard or ADA symbol for accessible parking they may access any ADA accessible space across campus. State law requires that DV plates have both DV and ADA in order to access these spaces
• There are spaces across campus that are designated parking for Purple Heart Recipients, the veteran that received the Purple Heart is the only one authorized to park in these designated spaces.
