KTRL 90.5 FM is National Public Radio (NPR) for the Cross Timbers area.

Our mission is to extend the reach and expand the horizon of Tarleton State University by informing, enriching, and engaging its audience through radio and other media while enhancing civic and cultural connections, strengthening communities, and reflecting listeners’ sense of place.

KTRL 90.5 partners with you, our listeners and supporters, and KAMU-FM, Texas A&M University’s public radio station, to bring you the best in NPR flagship news programs and a unique mix of classical and jazz music.

KTRL 90.5 serves listeners in the Cross Timbers area that would not otherwise have access to reliable, non-biased NPR programming or our unique music format.

For more details on our new programming lineup, check out our program schedule.
