T For Texas

T For Texas is a two-minute, weekly radio program about moments in Texas history. Written and hosted by Dr. Deborah M. Liles, the W.K. Gordon Endowed Chair of Texas History at Tarleton State University, these little snippets of Texas history come from newspapers, diaries, archives, and county courthouse records throughout the state. T For Texas airs on Thursdays on KTRL at 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. You can also find the new episode each Thursday at 9:00 AM by subscribing to T For Texas wherever you find your podcasts.

Dr. Liles is the author or co-editor of five books, several journal articles, chapters in other books, and has given over 130 talks about Texas history around the state and throughout the United States. She is a Fellow of the East Texas Historical Association and the West Texas Historical Association, a Board member of the Friends of Texas Library and Archives Commission and serves with various historical organizations throughout the state. She is currently conducting research for more books and scripts for T For Texas!
