Learn Through Professional Experience
The Kinesiology Internship Program at Tarleton State University provides students with supervised, hands-on learning experiences in professional settings related to kinesiology, exercise science, sport management and other health and human performance fields. These internships bridge classroom instruction with real-world applications, allowing students to strengthen their knowledge, develop practical skills and gain valuable experience in their chosen career paths.
Through internships, students have the opportunity to explore career interests, apply academic knowledge, observe industry professionals and build meaningful professional relationships. These experiences also provide insight into daily workplace operations, industry expectations and career opportunities beyond the classroom.
Internships are designed to support students’ academic and professional development while preparing them for successful careers in kinesiology and related fields. Students work with their academic advisers and internship coordinators to identify appropriate opportunities that align with their degree requirements and career goals.
