What is the Honors College?
At Tarleton, the Honors College houses three distinct programs: University Honors, Distinguished Honors, and the Presidential Honors Program. Admission is highly competitive due to limited space in the Honors Hall and small honors class sizes. Undergraduate students from any major can join the Honors College and become part of a supportive community of high-achieving peers.
The goal of the Honors College is to provide a challenging academic environment that fosters intellectual growth, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Graduating from the Honors College gives students a competitive advantage when applying to graduate or professional programs and pursuing careers that value exceptional academic achievement and intellectual curiosity.
