Welcome

Welcome to the Tarleton State University Foundation, Inc. website.

I am blessed to serve as the president of the Foundation's Board of Directors, and it is my distinct honor to serve on the Board with such highly accomplished men and women. Our goal is to continue to help the Tarleton family achieve greatness and provide support for the students, faculty, and staff at Tarleton State University.

This year, the University will install its 16th president, Dr. James Hurley. Dr. Hurley has already been hard at work. One of his first official actions was to move Tarleton State University to NCAA Division I effective July 1, 2020. Tarleton recently received the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification because of its collaboration and interaction within its larger community. Tarleton fosters community engagement, celebrating successes and working to build new and fruitful partnerships. These partnerships provide learning opportunities for students to grow both professionally and in civic responsibility. The Tarleton Fort Worth campus Building 1 is up and running and plans for Building 2 are in the works. Tarleton is moving upward at a fast pace, and we are pleased to be able to support these endeavors.

It is the mission of the Foundation to provide financial support to benefit students in the form of scholarships and project support. Additionally, the Foundation exists to provide assistance for various departmental and university needs. All of our support is to foster a climate of individual student and University success.

With all of the new and exciting things happening at Tarleton, the need for your support is greater than ever. The Board would like to thank each of you who have supported the University and the Foundation in the past and to thank those of you who will support us in the future. Because of your support, we can continue to make Tarleton a great experience for those who choose to be a part of this fine institution.

Please feel free to contact me or any board member to discuss how you might support Tarleton State University or contact our office at 254-968-9421.

Best Regards,

Rocky J. Hardin
