Strategic Insights (SI) at Tarleton State University uses data science, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies to give senior leaders the information they need to make informed decisions about the university’s future. As a core engine of innovation within the Division of University Strategy, SI develops machine-learning models that enhance current processes, forecast future trends and reveal new opportunities that strengthen Tarleton State’s ability to serve students and communities across Texas.

SI leads the university-wide effort to foster safe, responsible and effective use of artificial intelligence, including governance and implementation through the AI Council. By tracking emerging technologies and laying the groundwork for rapid adoption, SI ensures that Tarleton State is positioned to benefit from major breakthroughs before they become mainstream. With a dynamic and ever-evolving portfolio of data science tools, SI solves real-world challenges today while preparing the university to thrive when the next transformative technology arrives.
