Welcome to Texan Therapeutic Riding!

Texan Therapeutic Riding is an equine-assisted services program at Tarleton State University. Equine-assisted services leverage horses and their movement for the health and well-being of people with all types of abilities and disabilities. We currently offer adaptive/therapeutic horsemanship lessons and we look forward to offering physical and occupational therapy services integrating horses in the future. Our staff and program are certified and accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl) to ensure the safety of our riders, horses, staff, and volunteers.

Our program offers many opportunities to get involved, and we would love to have you as a participant, volunteer, or supporter.
