Join the Tarleton Texans for a Colorguard Camp with veteran Texas professional Colorguard educators!

For students entering grades 6th-12th

Monday, June 22nd thru Thursday, June 25th

Pricing:

Commuter Fees:

Single registration $275 per student.

Group registration (5+ from same school) $240 per student.

Resident Fees:

Single registration $420 per student.

Group registration (5+ from same school) $390 per student.

Check-in
Check in will be held at Honors Hall, we will have more information closer to camp.

End of Camp Performance:  The camp performance will be on the last day of camp at the end of camp. We will have more information closer to camp.

General Information

Daily camp schedule includes:

   Dance/movement class

   Flag and weapon technique

   Ability and interest based small groups

   Full camp routine instruction

Campers will learn:

   A minimum of three dance/movement combinations in contrasting styles

   Technique on flag

   Technique on weapon if desired

   An ability based small group routine

Marching band performs at Tarleton Memorial Stadium with a cheering crowd.

Things to Bring to Camp!

  • Bedding for a XL twin.
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Colorguard Camp participants must provide their own equipment.
  • Campers should plan to wear athletic or dance apparel with sneakers or jazz shoes for all training sessions.
  • *Internet access provided upon request.
  • All rooms are furnished w/ mattress, dresser, fridge and microwave.
  • For the colorguard camp they also need to bring:
  • —Black bottoms (modest dance shorts/spandex, capris, or dance pants) 
  • End of Camp performance
  • —Flag on pole with rubber stoppers
  • —Rifle and/or sabre if you are wanting instruction on weapon as well as flag
  • —Dance shoes or thick socks for morning movement class
