Earning Your Bachelors Degree Online
Undergraduate admission to Waco, Texas A&M-RELLIS, and Online requires:
- a minimum of 24 transferable hours
- 2.0 GPA or higher
- TSI complete status
These Transfer locations only offer upper-division courses. If your degree requires additional lower-level courses, some may be available online, but you may also need to complete courses at another institution and transfer them to Tarleton. Financial Aid Consortiums with Tarleton’s community college partners are available to assist with the cost of dual enrollment.
What you need to apply as an undergraduate:
- Tarleton State University application
- $50 application fee
- Official college transcripts from every accredited institution you have attended
- Any other items requested by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions based on application answers

What credits will transfer?
- If you are core complete at another Texas public college or university, you will be considered core complete at Tarleton
- Maximum of 90 credit hours can be applied to a 120-credit hour bachelor’s degree
- Training may count as college credit for select degree programs; ask us to learn more

- These programs are designed for students with at least 24 transferrable credit hours already completed and want to complete their bachelor’s degrees using online courses.

Online Transfer Information Sessions
Our Online Transfer Information Sessions are led by one of our admission counselors. During the session, we will review Tarleton transfer requirements, programs offered, frequently asked questions, academic advising, financial aid, scholarships and more. These virtual sessions are available to students that are interested in attending any of our campus locations.
