December 2025 Ticket Information

Amid the exciting momentum with our football team’s potential to host an FCS Quarterfinal playoff game and out of an abundance of caution for unpredictable weather, Tarleton State University will move both December commencement ceremonies indoors to the EECU Center.

With this change, all guests will be required to have a ticket. Outlined in further detail below, all graduates will receive eight (8) tickets for the indoor ceremony and must be claimed no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4. Tickets are not required for children under the age of 2 years old. The child must sit in an adult’s lap and can’t occupy an individual seat. Ticket distribution is currently underway at each designated location listed below. Tickets for the indoor ceremonies will NOT be available after the ticket distribution period ends. Indoor overflow viewing locations will be available throughout on the Stephenville campus. These spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for non-ticketed guests to watch the ceremony livestream.

May 2026 and August 2026 ticket information will be posted at a later date.

Ticket Distribution

GRADUATES MUST PICK UP TICKETS FOR THE INDOOR CEREMONY DURING THE TICKET DISTRIBUTION PERIOD. Tickets for the indoor ceremonies will NOT be available after the ticket distribution period ends.

Distribution begins Monday, November 17 at 1 PM in the locations listed below.

• All students who applied for graduation will be considered eligible to participate in their ceremony, however participation is optional.
• Undergraduate students will receive 8 tickets for the indoor ceremony.
• Graduate students will receive 8 tickets for the indoor ceremony.
• Students will be required to show picture ID before tickets are released.
• Graduates should call/email their college/campus ticket contact (listed below) to have tickets mailed.

Distribution ends at 5 PM on Thursday, December 4

• Tickets MUST be picked up by 5 PM.

NO EXTRA TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THE INDOOR CEREMONY.

GRADUATE STUDENTS: Tickets for ALL graduate students, including distance learners, (all campuses) will be distributed by the College of Graduate Studies on the Stephenville campus.

ONLINE/DISTANCE LEARNING STUDENTS: Tickets for undergraduate Distance Learning students will be distributed by the academic Colleges on the Stephenville campus. Distance Learners should reach out to academic colleges regarding ticketing questions.
