Vision:
The Athletics Council supports Tarleton State University’s Athletics Department in its commitment to integrity, equity, and competitiveness across all sports, and serves as a proactive liaison between the department and the broader university community.
Purpose:
In this capacity, the Council shall promote the advancement of intercollegiate athletics at Tarleton State by highlighting and supporting the contributions of athletics to the wider university community. Council members shall further identify and convey community-relevant issues to athletics leadership and represent the university community in discussions concerning those matters.
