Agricultural Education Student Teachers

Spring 2026

Teaching interns from Tarleton State University’s Agricultural Education program will spend the final semester of undergraduate education immersed in school-based agricultural education programs throughout Texas. During this experience, interns actively teach secondary agriculture courses, facilitate hands-on laboratory learning, and mentor students in developing meaningful Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs). Interns also work closely with FFA chapters, supporting leadership development, career readiness activities, and the management of livestock projects and stock show participation that are central to many Texas programs.
