Tarleton Aquaponics Youth Camp
This camp is for youths age 8 to 16 years old and will be held at the Animal and Plant Science building (APSC 144) and Aquaponics Hydrotron at the Tarleton Agricultural Center on College Farm Rd. Kids will learn about plant and fish options, seed germination, system construction, establishment, and maintenance, and preparing a homegrown meal! The participant should wear close toed shoes that can get wet.

9:30 – 10:00 Tour Aquaponics Hydrotron
10:30 – 10:45 Water /Bathroom Break
10:45 – 11:15 Plant Seeds in germination trays
11:15 – 12:00 Assemble IBC tote aquaponics System
12:00 – 12:30 Wash Gravel
12:30 – 1:00 Catch fish
1:00 – 2:00 Prepare and eat meal.
