The Department of Social Work prepares skilled, ethical practitioners who promote health and well-being through service and leadership. We offer fully accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs through the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

Our programs emphasize high-impact learning, including service-learning, community-based research, and supervised field practicum experiences in social service agencies. Graduates are eligible to pursue licensure through the Texas Behavioral Health Council and enter a wide range of professional social work careers.
