HOW TO PROMOTE EVENTS & EXPERIENCES ON CAMPUS
Promoting an event or experience at Tarleton State is a collaborative process designed to help your content reach students, faculty, and staff across campus. A great fl rst step is to explore what’s already happening by checking the Tarleton Calendar and Texan Sync, where current events, activities, and engagement opportunities are shared for the campus community.
When you’re ready to promote your own event, activity, or resource, make sure your materials follow the Tarleton State brand guidelines (insert link here). These guidelines help ensure that all campus communications look consistent, polished, and aligned with the university’s identity.
Once your content is ready, submit it through the Event Promotion Form (link). This form automatically routes your materials to multiple departments for review and approval. After approval, your event can be scheduled for posting in available poster frames and on digital signage across campus.
To keep everything running smoothly:
- Submit content early-at least 10 business days before your preferred posting date to allow time for routing and review.
- Content is typically scheduled to run for no more than 14 days due to the high volume of submissions.
Following these steps helps ensure your event gets the visibility it deserves while maintaining Tarleton’s professional standards across all promotional materials.
