The Texan Trail Transcript is your opportunity to explore everything Tarleton State has to offer while building a meaningful college experience along the way. Through campus events, leadership opportunities, and hands-on involvement, you’ll discover new interests, develop valuable skills, and grow both personally and professionally.

As you complete pathways, you’ll gain experiences that strengthen your résumé and prepare you for awards, internships, graduate school, and future careers. The Texan Trail Transcript highlights your journey and showcases your growth to future employers, demonstrating how you’ve transformed during your time at Tarleton State.

Students who complete designated pathways will also earn a special graduation cord in recognition of their achievement.

Effective Leadership: Leading Experiences

Must Complete One of the Following

  1. Hold a leadership position in an organization
  2. Serve as Tarleton Transition Mentor (TTM)
  3. Serve as Residential Leader (RL)
  4. Attend 3 Leadership Events
  5. Attend/Present a Conference or Symposium
  6. Faculty Sponsored Leadership Applied Learning Experience
  7. Being Active in Student Government Association
  8. Serve as Peer Mentor
  9. Serve as Tarleton Ambassador

Global Awareness: Cultural Enrichment

Must Complete One of the Following

  1. Domestic Study Experiences (Study Abroad inside the U.S)
  2. Foreign Study Experience (Study Abroad outside the U.S)
