Independent students enrolled in dual credit courses will see their tuition balance listed in Texan Bill Pay. Payment must be made in full within 30 days, and there is no payment plan option available. There are no additional fees for learning materials – these are included in the course cost.
If a student attends a school district with a current dual credit MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Tarleton Today, please consult the school counselor for information about payment options and costs specific to the school district.

How do I get started with dual credit?
If you attend a public, private, or charter school, please reach out to your school counselor to find out if your school has a partnership with Tarleton Today. If your school does not currently partner with us—or if you are a homeschool student—please reach out to the Tarleton Today office.

Are there any in-person dual credit class offerings for independent students?
No, all classes will be the online modality.
Can I enroll in dual credit courses if I attend a public/private/charter school?
Yes, students from public, private, or charter schools may enroll in dual credit classes. If you wish to enroll independently (outside of your high school’s dual credit program), you must follow the independent student enrollment process and obtain approval from your high school counselor.
Please note: If you enroll independently, we cannot guarantee that your high school will award credit for the course. This decision is determined by your school.
