Team Kinesiology® Training is for individuals with quadriplegia, paraplegia, hemiplegia, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, or other mobility impairments which require special consideration.

Participants Lab Activities

Team Kinesiology® Training participants train using legs and torso cycling for 3-6 hours per week for 15 weeks during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Personal Trainers provide continuous exercise supervision and constant program modifications to meet the individual needs.

Participants in 1994 through the present, have reported benefits of participation including:

  • Increased endurance
  • Improved mental alertness and emotional health
  • Improved mobility
  • Decreased expense and dependence on prescription drugs

The program is open to patients who are referred from local and area physicians and therapists after their programs are declared complete. Participants experience interaction with knowledgeable and considerate future health professionals while gaining the benefits of physical training.
