The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Peterson’s, and U.S. News & World Report. The combined goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to all involved in a student’s transition into higher education, as well as to reduce the reporting burden on data providers.

Tarleton State has rules and policies in place to comply with SB 17 and the Federal EO 14151. Tarleton State has developed rules and policies to ensure individuals’ full participation in, or access to educational or institutional programs regardless of an individual’s race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law. Tarleton State will comply with State of Texas and federal mandates, A&M System regulations and Tarleton State rules and saps regarding anti-discrimination.
