Senior Prom

In partnership with the Cross Timbers Legacy Center, the Global, Community, and First-Gen Initiatives Division, alongside three student interns, launched a Senior Prom to strengthen connections between Tarleton State University and the local community.

This event provides an opportunity to celebrate senior citizens in the Stephenville community while fostering meaningful engagement between students and residents. Since its launch in 2025, the event has continued to grow each year, with increasing attendance and community involvement.

This past year, the event was made even more special through the support of student organizations, including P.A.N.K.U.S., Tarleton Serves, and the Corps of Cadets. We extend our sincere appreciation to these groups for their time, energy, and commitment to making the event a success.

Attendees enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and connection, with highlights including a DJ-hosted photo booth that added a fun and memorable element to the celebration.

The Cross Timbers Legacy Center continues to be a valued partner, and we are grateful for opportunities like this that allow us to build lasting relationships with the Stephenville community that makes Tarleton State feel like home.
