Federal Benefits

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requires that the University certify that all courses used in determining the veteran’s full-time equivalency status are applicable to the degree the veteran is pursuing.

Chapter 30

VA benefit which provides monthly stipend to student veterans who paid into the MGIB program.

Chapter 31

Vocational VA program for disabled veterans which covers most costs need to acquire a job that does not worsen their disability.

Chapter 33

VA benefit for veterans and their family members (when transferred) which provides payment towards tuition and fees, monthly housing allowance (BAH) and a book allowance.

Chapter 35

VA benefit for dependents of 100% permanent and total disability veterans, which provides a monthly stipend to the student.

VA benefit for Active-duty or Reserves members which provides a monthly stipend to the student.
