Biography

Dr. Rhonda Dobbs is the Criminal Justice Department Head and Associate Professor in the School of Criminology, Criminal Justice and Public Administration at Tarleton State University. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, Master’s from Virginia Tech University, and Ph.D. in Criminology from Florida State University. Her research interests include perceptions of crime and the criminal justice system as well as the influence of gender in the criminal justice process. She has published in the Journal of Criminal Justice Education, Criminal Justice and Law Review, The Canadian Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Journal of Gang Research, and Criminal Justice Studies: A Critical Journal of Crime, Law and Society.
