Biography

William ‘Casey’ Heath is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Public Administration Public Policy from the University of Texas, Arlington. He worked as a full-time police officer for 20 years. He retains his peace officer commission by working part-time for the Tarleton Police Department.  His research interests include management, policy analysis, and institutional functions of police agencies.  He specializes in public sector economic applications related to police agencies.
