Group Tour Information

Tarleton State University is excited that you and your students are interested in visiting our wonderful campus. Our office is committed to fostering the desire to receive higher education and encouraging students to achieve their goals.

Your campus visit will consist of a 20-30 minute information session followed by a 75 minute walking tour of our beautiful campus and its rich heritage. On-campus dining may be scheduled for your group if desired. Information sessions are crafted for high school students and will cover our current admission requirements, housing options, financial aid, campus resources, academic programs, and exciting student life. The maximum group size we are able to accommodate at this time is 60 students. One chaperone is required for every 25 students. Our office will send you a reservation confirmation, guidelines for your tour, on-campus dining information, and parking information upon completion of your reservation. To check availability and to reserve a tour, please email or contact (254) 968-1818.

Group tours are offered for groups of 10-60 students in 9th through 12th grades on most Mondays-Fridays. Visitors will receive an information session, tour of campus, and lunch on campus if selected. We offer tours for groups of 10-60 students in 6th-8th grade, for 2-4 weeks at the end of each semester, excluding finals week.

When classes at Tarleton are canceled due to inclement weather or other special conditions, group tours will be canceled as well. Campus closures will be announced to you promptly. Read more about group tours.
