Mission of Web Services:

As caretakers of Tarleton’s online presence, the mission of Web Services is to support the goals of the university by creating an inclusive website environment that is inviting and informative to prospective students as well as supportive to current students, faculty, and staff; offer instructional training to the Tarleton community; and provide services that develop and enhance Tarleton’s web presence.

Digital Media Advisory Committee (DMAC)

The role of the Digital Media Advisory Committee is to:

  • Help Web Services strategically prioritize incoming project demand and baseline projects with the current resource structure
  • Act as liaisons between divisions/colleges/departments and Web Services to champion project planning and communication
  • Provide support and justification for Web Services resource requests

Membership of the Digital Media Advisory Committee includes: Director of Web Services (chair), AVP of Marketing Communications (ex-officio), Executive Director of Information Technology Services (ex-officio) and representatives from Academic Affairs, Finance and Administration, Student Engagement & Success, Institutional Advancement, and Enrollment Management. If a member is unable to attend a meeting, a representative from the same division should attend in their place. Current members are noted under the University Committees List.
