Tradition

Tarleton State University has been around for over 100 years, so believe it when we say that traditions run deep on our campus. The oldest spirit organization in Texas calls Tarleton their home. The Purple Poo will always be there to remind you to stay off the grass, raise the spirit of John Tarleton, and if you're lucky, give you a coveted Poo Sign. You only have to be on campus for a short time to understand why everyone in the Tarleton family bleeds purple.
