  • investigate generational perceptions (i.e. millennial, baby boomers, generation X) of social media in various contexts
  • determine the best practices of using social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare) to reach potential customers and retain current customers
  • investigate how social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare) can be used to facilitate communication within organizations
  • examine current organizational policies focused on social media in the workplace
  • explore social media and privacy issues
  • determine innovative methods to facilitate training and develop through social media
  • determine the best practices of using social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare) in the classroom environment
