The program provide academic, career, and financial counseling and will encourage students to graduate from high school and continue on to complete postsecondary education. ETS publicizes the availability of financial aid and will assist members with the college application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ETS provide participants with many opportunities and service including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academic, financial, career or personal counseling including advises on entry or re-entry to secondary or postsecondary programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Career exploration and aptitude assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tutorial service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on postsecondary education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to college campuses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information on student financial assistance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistance in completing college admissions and financial aid applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assistance in preparing for college entrance exams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentoring programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Special activities for sixth, seventh and eighth graders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops for the families of participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students may qualify for the ETS program based upon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Being a potential first generation college student (parent does not have a bachelor degree)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.gov\/about\/ed-offices\/ope\/trio\/federal-trio-programs-current-year-low-income-levels\">Meeting income guidelines<\/a>&nbsp;(taxable income and the number of dependents in the household)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrating need for academic and\/or college preparatory service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending one of the target schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow
