You could make the difference in a child's life!

The Tarleton Model for Accelerated Teacher Education (TMATE) program, was established in 1986 and was one of the first university-based approved alternative teacher certification programs in Texas. Since then thousands of people have made successful career transitions into the teaching profession through TMATE.

TMATE is a year-long graduate program for highly motivated people with a bachelor's degree, who want to become certified school teachers. TMATE's reputation as an exemplary teacher certification program makes TMATE participants very attractive candidates for school districts seeking to hire beginning teachers.
