{"id":810,"date":"2022-05-23T17:02:16","date_gmt":"2022-05-23T17:02:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.tarleton.edu\/tlc\/?page_id=810"},"modified":"2023-06-27T16:19:05","modified_gmt":"2023-06-27T16:19:05","slug":"criteria","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/tlc\/si\/criteria\/","title":{"rendered":"SI Course Criteria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading advgb-dyn-0a0b22a1\">What Criteria is Used to Select Courses for SI?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following criteria are used to determine the priority in which courses receive SI, supported by the Tutoring and Learning Center:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support of Department Chairperson<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support of Instructor(s) for the course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Large percentage (&gt;30%) of D, F, and withdrawals course grade distributions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SI vs. Non-SI participant final course grade received<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of contact hours spent in SI sessions for course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of students repeating the course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perceived level of difficulty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"information has-texan-white-color has-tarleton-purple-background-color has-text-color has-background\">The TLC is willing to offer SI support to new courses which may not fall in the categories listed above provided the department can assist with funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What Criteria is Used to Select Courses for SI?
