In the Reading Test, students will encounter questions like those asked in a lively, evidence-based discussion. All Reading Test questions are multiple choice and based on passages. The Writing and Language Test, asks testers to be an editor and improve passages that include deliberate errors or weaknesses. The Math Test covers a range of math practices that emphasize problem solving modeling, using tools strategically, and using algebraic structure. The SAT Essay requires students use their reading, analysis, and writing skills by having them read a passage, explain how the author builds an argument, and to support their explanation with evidence from the passage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The SAT is a test that colleges and universities use to determine if students should be accepted into that institution. The baseline score varies by institution, so students should check admissions requirements for the schools of their choice.
