The staff is proficient in the following activities:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Establishing, maintaining, and monitoring remote automated water quality monitoring equipment.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Collecting, processing, and transporting water quality samples.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Performing recreational and aquatic life Use Attainability Analyses (UAAs) and habitat assessments.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Designing, constructing, and maintaining experimental field plots.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Deploying multiprobe sondes and automated samplers.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Time-of-travel studies.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">In situ measurement of sediment oxygen demand (SOD).<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">In situ measurement of algal productivity.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">In situ measurement of algal growth potential and nutrient limitation.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Velocity measurements and rating curve development.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Collection, preservation, and analysis of E. coli and Enterococci samples.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Ground truthing to validate land-use maps.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Maintenance of real-time monitoring systems.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">TIAER&#8217;s Field Operations group maintains a variety of equipment to successfully complete its water quality monitoring activities. This equipment includes:<\/mark>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Isco\u2122 carousel automated water samplers and programmable bubbler type level meters.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">YSI Multiprobes.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Conventional and Doppler technology current meters.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Electronic rain gauges.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Boats for a variety of aquatic environments.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">GPS and surveying equipment.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">Backpack electrofishing equipment and seines.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color
