{"id":537,"date":"2021-10-21T13:54:04","date_gmt":"2021-10-21T13:54:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.tarleton.edu\/tiaer\/?page_id=537"},"modified":"2026-06-23T20:03:50","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T20:03:50","slug":"laboratory-analytic-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/tiaer\/laboratory-analytic-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Laboratory Analytical Services"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 42%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">The TIAER laboratory is accredited by the <\/mark><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tceq.texas.gov\/agency\/qa\/env_lab_accreditation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-purple-color\">National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program<\/mark><\/a><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\"> (NELAP)<\/mark><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\">\u00a0and has extensive experience in analyzing\u00a0<strong>surface water samples, soils, and sediments.<\/strong>\u00a0<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-tarleton-black-color\"><strong>The TIAER laboratory is also certified to analyze drinking water coliform contamination.<\/strong> <\/mark>The laboratory maintains a secure facility that ensures the protection of client samples for\u00a0<strong>production and integrity of legally-defensible data.<\/strong>\u00a0A wide range of organic and inorganic constituents have been measured on TIAER projects including dissolved and suspended nutrients, oxygen demand, solids, chlorophyll, bacteria, organic carbon, microplastics, pH, and conductivity. Standardized procedures are used to adhere to <strong>U.S. Environmental Protection Agency\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Texas Commission on Environmental Quality\u00a0<\/strong>requirements where applicable. The TIAER Laboratory&#8217;s Quality Control\/Quality Assurance section is audited by state and federal authorities and maintains oversight on laboratory functions.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul
