Nutrient Tracking Tool (NTT) Training Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Student NTT Training Workshop: October 10th, 2026<\/strong><\/mark>, 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, SCIEN 208<\/strong><\/mark> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop will give an overview of how NTT works and provide students with hands-on experience running NTT. This workshop is free to attend and will include lunch.<\/mark> It will be held in SCIEN 208 on the Tarleton Campus with a virtual option. Please RSVP (in-person spots limited) using the QR code below. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3-day NTT Workshop: Date TBA (likely early 2027)<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 3-day workshop is currently being planned. This workshop will give in-depth instruction on the background of NTT and the models behind it (Agricultural Policy Environmental eXtender (APEX) and Farm Economic Model (FEM)), and will give participants hands-on experience and real-time feedback. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 12, 2026, TIAER hosted a Soil and Water Quality Field Demonstration at Port Neches Riverfront Park in Port Arthur, TX. This was following the <\/mark>Southeast Texas Flood Coordination Study’s annual meeting<\/mark><\/a>. The demonstration gave hands-on experience with collecting water samples. Preliminary results from TIAER’s work in coastal TX were presented.<\/mark><\/p>\n<\/div>
