About the Campus Refresh Project

The Campus Refresh Project is a program that provide Faculty and Staff members with a reliable and dependable computer on a predictable 4-year cycle. This program will provide the opportunity for Faculty and Staff to choose from a menu of choices that are practical and offer the most productivity options for individual employee preferences.

Replacement Schedule

The schedule consists of four initial groups (Year 1 through Year 4), which will replace all current eligible Faculty and Staff on campus, bringing everyone to a standard, predictable 4-year replacement cycle. A machine’s age determines its sequence in the replacement schedule. After machine replacement, the cycle resets, and it will take place be on a predicted 4-year replacement schedule.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have automatically selected a Microsoft Windows laptop device for all positions. To request an alternative device (Apple device, Windows desktop), please contact the Campus Refresh Project manager.

Notification of Eligibility

Eligibility Faculty and Staff will receive an email in the fall and spring. They will be invited to attend showcases, ask questions, and learn how to prepare for the machine replacement.

Alternative devices and hardware upgrades available, but the clients department would cover the difference.
