Fall Youth Sport Day – 11\/8<\/summary>\n

Sport management and coaching students from the Sport IMPACT Lab planned a youth sport sampling day event in conjunction with Tarleton Athletics Marketing department. Kinesiology students volunteered to work the event and get hands-on experience coaching and teaching 3-12 year olds in a variety of different sport and physical activity-based activities prior to the Tarleton Volleyball game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Date<\/strong>: November 8th<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time<\/strong>: 11 am – 12:30 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place<\/strong>: Wisdom Gym Turf Room<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Tarleton Coaching Academy – 10\/29<\/summary>\n

The inaugural Tarleton State Coaching Academy is a one-day event designed to inspire high school students to explore careers in coaching and physical education. Held on the Tarleton State University campus (Stephenville), the coaching academy is a workshop and career day-style event that will include interactive discussions among college and high school students, hands-on coaching sessions led by Tarleton State faculty, and a guided campus tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
