Additionally this incoming class boasted the largest number of first-time-in-college students in university history, more than 3,400 strong. Tarleton State continues to be a powerful economic driver for Faculty secured major awards from organizations including the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Agriculture and Texas A&amp;M University System, advancing innovation across healthcare, agriculture, engineering and education. These additions will create new academic pathways for students and strengthen the university\u2019s commitment to meeting workforce needs in Texas. Student-athletes earned a record 3.3 GPA in Spring 2026, with 80% posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Major upcoming projects include a home for the proposed College of Osteopathic Medicine, Regents Hall, an additional resident\u2019s hall on Cain street, a new Agriculture and Natural Resources facility, the Innovation and Incubation Hub, a new welcome and alumni center, and additions to the baseball and softball complex.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\"
