Holistic Admissions Process

1. To encourage and facilitate student recruitment, acceptance, and retention, the DPT program will implement holistic application strategies.  
2. This process takes into consideration the applicant’s academic performance, history of service and leadership, potential for contributions to the PT profession, commitment to their education success, and unique lived experiences. 
3. The Admissions Committee will consider the “whole” applicant rather than focusing on just one factor.  
4. Holistic review will consider the principles of the AAMC.
